If you live in Arizona, or are planning a visit to the Phoenix area around November 1, 2009, and you are a walker you’ll be interested in the upcoming “Walk for Valley Fever“.
Mark your calender for November 1, 2009.
Activities take place from 8am until noon. If you register by October 15th, it’s only $20, after that it is only $25. Location is Downtown Phoenix. The Walk begins at 550 E. Van Buren near the Medical Center of the University of Arizona. Canine companions are welcome! Especially Valley Fever survivors. (Be prepared to pick up after your dog.)
ALL the money collected will go to the Valley Fever Center for Excellence at the University of Arizona.
