Due to Arizona state budget cuts ten offices of the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles are closing throughout the state on Friday Feb 12, 2009.
In the Phoenix area, two facilities that will be affected by this announcement are the ones 2739 E. Washington St. in Phoenix, as well as the east Mesa branch at 7631 E. Main St.
After the branches close, area residents can still obtain many MVD services at www.servicearizona.com. Residents can also visit more than 140 privately operated MVD locations. A list of these private locations is available at www.azmvdservices.com.
